Greener IT - Environment

The good thing about recyclable products is that many materials can be recycled and turned into something else an unlimited number of times. This includes computers.

Greener IT makes it their business to ensure that computers and IT equipment that is recycled through them is re-used, if possible. By reusing old components of recycled machines, it helps to ensure that older computers can stay running for longer.

Greener IT also supplies machines to charitable causes. This helps not only the charitable cause but also ensures that machines are used to their full capacity, as one organisations expiry date for old machines could be another organisations starting date!

Inevitably some machines will have to be recycled but this is also a more energy efficient process than starting from scratch with a raw material - which is good news for the environment.
